The MTB Posse is heading for Bryngarw Park Cafe to meet the road boys. Leaving the Plaza 10:00am

I take it the plans changed due to the icy conditions. Didn't see any of the mb posse at the cafe.

Some really icy roads out there today. Poor Kane chose today to try out cleats for the first time. Not bad, only two sideways falls at the lights but the worst was yet to come when he hit a patch of black ice and took a tumble.
Not 100 yards on and he was over again so we decided to head back to the gritted roads.
Sadly that wasn't the last of it as I heard another crunch behind me and the poor sod was off again. Quite a few grazes but you will be glad to know the bike is alright.

Good on him for soldiering on to Bryngarw over the less icy cefn cribbwr road.

I think the cleats might be in the bin now.
