I'm having a small op on the 3rd December and need around 6 weeks rest following it, as I can't sit still for more than 10 mins I'm gonna go off my head!
If anyone could possibly lend me any cycling DVDs, books, mags or whatever to help me stay sane they would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Dai

Sorry Dai - I think we're all a bit shy.

I'm not sure if you're into touring but I've got CTC magazines that I was just about to chuck out plus loads of Cycle Sports (approx 1998-2002 era). On the DVD front I've got 'Overcoming' (which is excellent) and the 2003 TdF. Books - Tom Simpson, Bradley, Paul Kimmage, Indurain, Merckx and one by that Texan bloke who was flogging those yellow wristbands.

Let me know if you're running a VHS machine as I've got some tapes (hah! remember them?) including a brilliant Tour of Flanders history one (must get it transferred over).

Never had you down as the shy retiring type Alfie!
Cheers boys sounds good, the ctc mags could be very useful to be honest Alfie as we are planning a few tours for next year.
DVDs & some of the books sound good too.
I can't make the club on Fri as I'm afternoons but perhaps I could call in and pick them up from your house?

Thanks too for your offer Peter, however i've seen/read most of what your offering, cheers though.

OK Dai. Let me put a box together tomorrow evening (Wed) and you can either pick it up from Llewellyn's Quay during the daytime or from Tanygroes Street on an evening.

Dai,
A number of books are available in the clubroom not all on cycling, also John Will has a load of cycling books and videos ( not sure what format, 58 fixed possibly )
give him a call.

Cheers Jeff, I'll call down when I'm up & about properly.
Had op yesterday and been told to expect 3 month recovery! So that'll be a great help.

Alfie, what number do you live at?
I'm hoping to at least get out in the car towards the weekend (with the boss driving), so perhaps we could call down to pick up the goodies!
Cheers
