10am start at the Plaza. As a few of us will possibly be nursing a hangover from the annual club presentation dinner, a gentle stomach settler to the Pier cafe in Mumbles is on the cards. With the possibility of a detour over Mayhills.

Make sure you all hit the swill hard, bring you all down to my level......Hope it's OK for 1st timer to join the gang for a ride this coming Sun morning???......Have a great night on Sat.

Many thanks to all for waiting when my tyre split on todays ride. Special thanks to Selwyn, JD, Les and particularly Spot for all the inventive ideas and practial assistance that got me back to the Plaza after a couple of stops to re-dress the split. I'd have long given up and called Shirl for a lift home. 5 miles out of the saddle to keep my weight over the front was great fun, my arms are shot. Thanks again lads, sorry if you were late back for the cycling at Glasgow on the telly.

It was one hell of a bang when it blew. I think we will be talking about that one for years to come.
