Not really sure Dave to be honest. We have a large amount of members , but come weekend its a bit of a no show I'm afraid! I've tried rustling up a bit of interst regarding Thursday night ride etc but apart from myself & Jez , again disappointing!i know a lot of members have other comitments but I feel our beloved club is splitting apart! It may be just me , but I feel a lot of our members that I've got to know over my years in the club seem to be not as interested as they once where! That's just my honest opinion !

I can only speak for myself but I have only been on a few Sunday club runs. All of which I have enjoyed BUT it is only very rare occasions I have the time be out for long periods on a Sunday. If I do get out on a Sunday Mrs Lloyd is happy if I am back for lunch and some time with the family. This usually means getting out by 9am and back by 12. As I did yesterday when I passed you lads at the Plazza.
As for Thursday I will have to get some lights sorted for that.
I dont know what the answer is because we all have different commitments. _______________ sleep is for the weak

Yes - the more the merrier!!
Thoughts from me:
1. Perhaps we need to schedule the club run earlier? Ogmore go out at 9, 9.30 in the depths of winter. In this day and age there seems to be a lot of pressure on people's time.
2. Publishing the club run routes well in advance - follows on from (1), people need to know where they are going and how long they are likely to be out/have escape routes.
Thoughts? _______________ The Force is strong in this one...

You may remember that two years ago I actually brought a motion to the AGM that club runs begin at an earlier time. While I had had MANY riders suggesting to me an earlier start to allow for an earlier return was a good idea, it was not really popular with those regular attendees of the club run.
Also -the age old one . . . . Too many hammerings for the slower riders .
I wonder how many riders ride on a Sunday but don't go with the club ? _______________ Supporting the club that supports you

I think the newfound popularity of the Saturday ride has affected the Sunday ride numbers. People not able to commit to two days riding opting for the one with more riders.
