PTW

Leave Plaza 10am, heading east over Briton Ferry bridge to Swansea. Then up Clyne Valley to Gowerton then Llanelli. Stop for refreshments in Pwll then retrace route back home. A nice flat one this week.

Not many riders out this week. Shame as it was a good day for it weatherwise.
Lost a few at blackpill leaving only five of us to continue up Clyne valley.
Headwind started to pick up from Loughor bridge onwards and a menacing black cloud above but was worth the push to Pwll for an extended cafe stop as the sun came out.
Superb tailwind home. It was so quiet and effortless back along the coastal path.

We passed Ed I think his name was, might be wrong, on the marsh road to Gowerton. He is 82 apparently and still going strong.

Just me and Spot left at baglan once Ian had left and Spot decided to pick up the pace not exactly what I needed at the end of a 50 odd miler but I managed a 20mph average along baglan road or the baglan burner as its called on Strava. Leaderboard showing me and Les tieing at 6th place with Spot lagging behind at 13th cos he didnt have strava turned on this time. No doubt he will soon change that.

I spoke too soon. Spot "just happened to be cycling that way home from work tonight" and "just happened to record it on strava" :p
He's bumped me to 7th place.
