PTW

R25/3L and I'm on the watch.

Signing on will be at the finish, i.e. the lay-by off the slip road off the A465 so, with Neath behind you, go straight on at McDonalds at Blaengwrach and take the first exit to go down the slip road and then turn left. There are lay-bys on both sides so parking shouldn't be a problem.

Signing on will be between 18.30-18.45 and we'll start when you've all got up the old Neath bank

Weather was brutal, but then that doesn't seem to affect some people. Amazed with my time, since I had nothing in the tank. Utterly amazed anyone could take 3 mins out of a 2up with Lyn Jones in it!

What I don't get is how five riders passed me going up the bank to the start, but when I got to the New Inn, no-one there. I assumed they'd all ridden down to Tower Colliery because of road works, so I followed. I got to the roundabout, no-one there, and I hadn't passed a single rider. It was like the Twilight Zone. Five riders disappeared into thin air.
