Little John, Gareth Howe, Colin Speakman and Bevan Hulse headed east.JD and Tud came for a little while on the Big Boys Club run before turning left at Glynneath and heading over Coelbren for Coffee and Cakes at Tuds House.
The following hardy souls went on a really big boys club run consisting of Pontneddvaughan, Ystradfellte, down Devils elbow and up Heol Sennu before resting at a cafe Stop at Craig Y nos. We returned via YstradGynlais and Crynant.
The RBBCR Consisted of Spot, Selwyn, Andy Lewis, Andy Williams, Geg 'Beut' Williams, Nic Stephens, an unknown soldier (Also from YstradGynlais), Mike Hall, Mark Thomas, Griff, Mark Hillier and Me.
A nice ride towards neath was soon spolied when Selwyn Started proceedings nicking the Melyncryddan Prime (To the shouts of I NEVER KNEW THAT SIGN EXISTED). And that was from JD....
At Aberdulais I saw a long lost friend and had to stop to exchange contact details before chasing back on. Big Thank you to Mark Thomas who waited for me and did some strong tuns to get us back on to see Mike Hall take the Abergarwed Prime. Not such a big thank you to Spot who took the opportunity for a comfort break as we went past and never got back to us before we got back on ...
For the record I took the well hidden Pentreclywdda Prime thinking this was about the only Prime I was likely to have that day as things were soon to go vertical.
Andy Williams took the Pontneddvaughan Prime and we all enjoyed the climb past Glynneath Golf Club and Beyond.
Fair Play the rest of the day was a battle between Spot and Greg, with Mike hall and the unknown soldier snapping at their heals. Mark Hillier climbed well with Selwyn but for the rest of us it was survival of the Fattest.
The gruppetto consisting of me ( I really Must get a 25 sprocket), Griff and Mark Thomas. Only Me and Griff had to get off though so Chapeux to Mark Thomas who put his granny ring into good use.
Chapeux also goes out to Kasia, Dave Crowleys Girlfriend, who was also at the cafe as she and Disco was heading off over the devils elbow doing our ride in reverse.
On the way back I managed a second Prime of the day at Penycae before Greg was stripped of a valuable prime Point when looking at Nic Stephens on his left allowing Spot to Pass him on his blind side.
