It looks 'busy' but there's nothing to be afraid of...

Forms?
I've been taking entries for rowing events using forms for quite a few years, but this year is the first year the Swansea Small Boats Head has taken on-line entries (using the system provided for us by British Rowing). In fact we didn't get a single entry using a form, which shows we're really a late adopter. The system checks that all memberships, ages and points are correct, collects the entry fees, and exports everything in CSV format. There are still things for me to do, but the dreaded forms have ceased to exist. When is the cycling world going to catch up? Incidentally our event was cancelled (hopefully postponed) because the river temperature was 1C the day before (when we cancelled) and 3C on the day (proving we were right). C'est la vie ![]() _______________ Electric bikes are great. They give ordinary people the chance to know what it feels like to be me. |

Entry to Audax events is becoming more popular by paypal and generally costs a little more, which is worth paying for more convenience and simplicity to enter. Problem is when surfing the web after a bottle of wine you may find yourself entering events well outside comfort zone (12hr?), which may result in more DNS'ers than traditional entry method. I think I may be on for a few DNS Audax events this year as bored and pi**ed one January night, mind you there has been talk of a new trophy for the rider with most DNS
