Is that the running club run or the cycling clubs cycling club run.Look it's just a case of not using the ptwcc website to advertise a non club related event, correct me if I'm wrong but do some of you belong to a running club, if so use their site to arrange your meeting times, then come back and tell us all about it after the event,as I've said I would be only to pleased to read about anyones sporting acheivements.Based on your arguments myself or anyone else could read the information on this forum about forthcoming Sunday club rides decide it's not for me then organise a ride to oppose it and advertise on this forum for club members to attend, bet that'd go down a storm, could some of you please sit up or maybe stand up or if you are stand on somthing coz I think my point is going over your heads, for the fifth time, orgnise your meeting times and places elsewhere.

Wow. This is lively!

Peeps talking about running on a cycling club website is ever so slighlty odd but I'm cool with it. However, Isaac Height does make a good point about undermining the traditional Sunday club run although I'm sure that no harm is meant.

RIGHT! hopefully this may be the last time I say this, I'm not anti running or anti any other sport(and contradictory to popular beleif auntie to anybody)being talked about on this forum,my point is don't organise non ptwcc events on the ptwcc forum if the event conflicts with a ptwcc event i.e dickie burton 10k - ptwcc sunday club ride.If for instance the outside event falls on a non club event day.i.e Monday , wednesday through the season, monday, wednesday, thursday out of season , FILL YA BOOTS.

Point has been understood all along Kevin, BUT There are always going to be things CYCLING or NON cycling which will conflict with events or rides on any days .

And I re-itterate... the forum is an extension of the banter which goes on between PAID UP CLUB MEMBERS at the caff or even on the bike and as such WHO has the right to censor what one says or thinks ??

It bothers you ??? Just don't read it !!

I'm getting bored with this now.....

Maybe the club captain will take the club run around Cwmavon and support some of the runners who will also be PTW members !

To those THREE running on Sunday and possibly another four or five, ..GOOD LUCK
Member
Sorry to have bored you all, but will the ptwcc club members who are running on Sunday be representing ptwcc or pt harriers(who I am informed will have their own website in the near future). Maybe you could arrange meeting times and places on there. It bothers you ???Just don't read it !! a form of censorship in itself,if you didn't put it on there I wouldn't have to read it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it safe to come out yet?

I went out for a ride on the bike with club kit on before I went to the run, so still did a kind of sunday ride .
So how did you get off Davey? I struggled to a 42:08 knocking 4 mins of last year.
Nice to see a few of you lads out on your bikes to support us ;).
