Thanks Wayne, I have had some feedback and it seems a lot of the riders enjoyed themselves. However, it was a team effort, and without the help of many volunteers it wouldn't have happened.
Thanks to the teams of marshals at MacDonalds/Glynneath, Resolven, the turn back onto the dual, the finish line, and I also witnessed the precision synchronised street furniture dancing of the team of marshals by Ynysygerwn cricket club, when the peleton came through, awesome!
The drivers were also excellent, as it all went smoothly without radios - Who said the UCI was wrong to ban them!
The girls at the HQ were brilliant! Stressful when riders were signing on, quiet while the race was on, and mayhem when it was all over - How did you do it?
My signage colleague - Peter Jones worked with me to put the signs up, and it couldn't have been easy for him to put the signs up on the dual, after his fairly recent accident on that bit of road. Thanks.
The NEG are a professional outfit, and it showed, keeping the riders safe and adding a kudos to the event - remember, lots of people just driving past saw this and they must have thought that the TDF was visiting Wales!
There were a few things that could have been done better on the night, and I take full responsibility, but lessons will be learned and we move on.

Well done Kev, on your first road race promotion, an event i know is not easy to put on, especially so this year with all the hassle you received from our friends at the highways dept, something we have not experienced in at least the six years the event has been held on this particular circuit. I hope that now all the issues are resolved, and the event can continue, to run ,as it is becoming more popular with the increase in entry we receive year on year. A very big thank you to you and your team . P.S ONLY BEEF ARE YOU SURE JAMES WAS,NT FIRST?and my regret that i could,nt do more this year to help you in organising
