Travelling up to the Midlands ,James competed in the E,1,2,3, 80 mile event , foregoing the local NOEL JONES EVENT (actually a change of date led to this move) and he finished in 10th position ,at least that was what , he thought, after some "creative" judging ,he was relegated to 12th , just outside the prize money, but an excellent result all the same, judging by the quality of the field , mostly elite and first cat riders in a full field of 80 riders. Event was won by Ian Rees ,(E) 2ND Matt Cronshaw (E), .Any news on how our other riders fared in the NOEL JONES event?

Excellent result for james. A placing like that can only boost your confidance. Also guts enough to put it on the line against the big boys. STUART
