Hi All,

With the news of Pip's accident and the, likely, length of his recovery, could i ask what arrangements can, or will, be put in place to ensure the Presidents Handicap on 19th May goes ahead.

If you need someone to (nominally) put themself down as organiser I'm happy to do so as long as there's a full commitment from the Club to ensure this event goes ahead.

The Presidents RR on the 19th May is being handled by Kevin Jones so is OK.
Pip is the organiser for the RR on the 27th of March, not sure what's happening at the moment.

I have been trying to get in touch with CJ to get clarification on this. I have received several entries for the race, and one of them emailed me after seeing the race had been cancelled on the British cycling website. I had to tell him that I did not know what the official line was for the event. However, I need to speak to the committee as regards this. I have not brought it up sooner as I thought it might be a bit insensitive with poor old Pip lying in hospital, but now people are asking questions, and I am in possession of several cheques!

Cash them and do a runner to Mexico!

Anyway, back to the real world, that cancellation on the BC site has been removed ? - I've spoken to Jeff Griffiths so things are progressing.
Got my lycra on and I'm off out for a ride in the sun - Who said retirement was boring?
