Well the first of the roller league events spluttered to a start this evening and 5 hardy Souls stepped up to the plate. This year it was racing with no holders so staying upright is as important as going quickly.

In the 500m time trials Chris Allen stepped up and was recording a really quick time but yours truly messed up by touching the "Touch sensitive" screen at 25 seconds with just under 50m to go. DOH! and much apologies Chris as that was likely to be your fastest time of the evening.

Next up was Disco who breezed in with a 33.58 quickly followed by Tank with a blistering 27:07. Chris Allen then put together a 2nd run recording 30.58.

Next up was our youngest Lady member and Ceri Jones at 12 years of age set off at a blistering pace, recording 41.68 for the 500m.

Last off was Iorri who set off at a great pace, but seemed to lose his rythm and his concentration now that his stabilisers are off. This week he rcorded 43:38 for the 125m.

Next up was a 500m race between Tank and Disco. Tank, spurred on by the extra competition recorded 25:78 to discos 30:85.

Finally we had a final competition with Ceri and Iorri racing a time trial on Iorri's bike where iorry recorded a 32.67 a full 11 seconds quicker than his first attempt and Ceri was just pipped to the post recording 32.96.

Points awarded tonight are
James Lewis (Tank) 20
Chris Allen 19
Dave Crowley (Disco) 18
Ceri Jones 17
And Iorri Evans 16

Come on Guys we need more competitors in two weeks time
