Jeff Bruce has a property in the Vendee region of France and is arranging training weeks for parties of up to 10 people. For those who have not cycled in France this is a great opportunity to ride on Cycle friendly roads

2011- February – March - April
The cost will be 140 euros per person per week bed and breakfast. Travelling to be arranged by the group. Contact Jeff to discuss availability.

May 21 Jean René Bernardeau sportif
If your interested in riding a classic Sportif, then the Jean Rene Bernardau Sportif is on the doorstep. Travelling Monday 16th of May and returning on the 23rd the cost for this is 160 euros per person per week bed and breakfast. Jeff has a few people booked up already for this so a deposit will be needed. Ring for more info.

Tour De France
If you want to see the Tour then this year it starts in the Vendee Region and the property can be used as an ideal base for those wishing to see the team presentation the Grand Depart and the first 3 stages

Thursday June 30th tour presentation at Puy De Fou (18 miles from property). This day is a great opportunity to see the riders and the equipment they will be using during the tour.

Stage 1
Saturday 2nd July
Passage de Gois to Mont Alouette (28 miles from property).

Stage 2
Sunday 3rd July
Le Essarts – team time trial. (20 miles from property).

Stage 3
Monday 4th July
Olonne sur mer – Redon. (40 miles from Property to see stage start).


A few people have already booked for this trip.
Cost will be 250 euros bed and breakfast per person for 10 days.
Remainder of stay can be used for rides of choice on quiet cycling friendly French roads. A deposit will be required for this so book early to avoid disappointment.

I can't reccommend Brucey's place enough.
A group of 8 of us went out there last year and had some superb cycling on deserted roads and we had some great weather too!
Get out there if you can, you wont regret it.
