After the excesses of the previous evening's annual awrds dinner, the Sunday Club run left the Plaza at 10:00 o'clock and headed at a leisurely pace to mumbles.
There were no cries of ease up boys (Nor come to think of it were there any cries of Lift it). It was also nice that spot failed to find anything steeper than Briton Ferry Bridge. In Truth that was probably because I hear there were 10 riders out on the elite ride at 9:30 keeping a mean pace up............ wait for it, Bryn, Caerau, the Bwlch, Rhigos, Aberdare, Maerdy, Penrhys, Tonyrefail and Gilfach..... (Nice and flat that one then LOL)
The 10:00 o'clock ride consisted of our newest Life Member JD, Spot, Selwyn Bowen, Gareth Howe, Dai Abbott, No Legs, Colin Speakman, Mark Hillier, striker and yours truly.
It brought back Memories to see Selwyn rolling a hundred and plenty inch gear on the front of the club run so all in all a really nice day. « Last edit by Les Thomas on Mon Nov 08, 2010 8:57 pm. »

Nice one guys. It was me giving you a melodic toot at about 12.15hrs when you were just turning off the dull-carriageway at Port Tennant/Jersey Marine.
BTW It looked more than ten riders??? _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Oh, and extra points for those (the majority) who were wearing the club kit. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

I'd just like to put on record that " I was there" on the 10 o'clock club run that is. Perhaps as it was a flat ride and Les did not hear my normal heavy breathing he didn't realise I was there. _______________ Keep on training
