Hey guys hope all is well.
I'd like to put the idea of an elite ride starting on a sunday through this winter. I think for the development of the road team and the youngsters we have in the club it's crucial a ride is put on of a different type to the usual sunday run.
For the improvement of the Road team and the young talent in the club I'd like to suggest a 10'oclock ride from the plaza on a sunday. I know it's really hard to cater for everyone and I'd like to help some of the younger lads and the road team through this winter.
so I think a 50-70mile ride of mixed terrain 17-20mph starting mid november needs to be put in place. I think the lads out there know who they are, but anybody should be welcome
Dont know what you all think? but hey what do I know lol!

Aye in Ma day we used to get up half hour before going to bed, ride 87 miles across boiling tarmac...... Race 50 Miiles, Then Ride home just in time to go to work in T mine........ And all on a lump of crusty bread,..........
Although I do remember some great rides to Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llagadog, over the blacks and back to Neath before riding home to Glyncorrwg and then go to the club dinner

In ma day we used to do it three times....
And we lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).
