Another successful day for the Squadra,strada ,First event up was the 4th cat event, and Curtis powered his way off the front to take his 1st win of the season , on the way lapping the field in the process, and considering the amount of the mighty Jif in the event , no mean achievement! 2nd event of the day saw father Mark trying to emulate his son with a few breaks off the front ,but it was not to be coming in a still creditable 5TH I think. the event was one by Rob Powell who took off basically from the gun. The 3rd and final event was for the 2nd cat riders, and our rep James, who started without his sidekicks Hefin and Disco ,who cried off citing , my season is finished , and family duties respectfully!, because of the shortage , J ames was assisted by Mark , after about three laps the small field blew apart with James , breaking away with Steve Edwards cARDIFF JIF , and Gerry Bowditch CC ABERGAVENNY, but this was soon wittled down to two , after S. Edwards was dropped , leaving James and Gerry to fight out the sprint, after lapping the remnants of the bunch and just short of lapping the rest of the field . James taking the honours in a closely fought sprint to make it six wins for him this season. WELL DONE BOYS!

You havent seen me much this year - too many international committments of the non cycling kind! but i'd just like to say its great to see our club doing so well!
Caught u with Davey C, Pip, Les on the weekend for the first time in ages and it felt great! although Dave let me know just how bad I really am going!!

All this talk of Winning has led me to commit to do some 4th Cat racing at Maindy in the comming weeks - so any one else who has "nil poir" this season come on down and we'll get a kickin' together.
