Davey
if the competition is as stiff as it was last year you'll have no prob defending your title ......
Tank, Dan, Curtis, Hefin ....... the hill climb is the same as last year - at Norton. Such a well attended event, you'll need to be there by 10.30 to sign on so you won,t be able to ride from the plaza with the club run at 10.
Davey if they fall for that you can buy me a drink at the club dinner in November. _______________ Supporting the club that supports you

Are you trying to confuse everyone??? The hill climb is on the BWLCH, at least thats whats on the top of this link. I am one of the timekeepers and will be on the Bwlch unless someone tells me different.

BWLCH.
It would be quite exciting if we did a double-header with Norton on a Saturday (to tie in with the Saturday bash) and then the Bwlch on a Sunday (to tie in with the Sunday club run) and then have lowest aggregate time to decide the winner. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Jeff, are you able to get a watch perfectly in synch with the 'pips' or, even better, do you have one of those 'waveceptor' jobbies that pick up a signal? _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Conditions: Cold, very stiff tailwind.
1. Rob Howells 9:25
2. Chris Chick 9:31
3. Chris Allen 10:05
4. John Davies 12:19
5. Dai Triggs 13:19
Excellent rides by all our brave competitors in decidedly 'bracing racing' conditions. Well done to our new club members Rob Howells and Chris Chick for setting the pace. Yes Chris, we think you're fit enough to come out on club rides now - lol.
Oh, btw, who on earth is John Davies?

Alf I do indeed know what the club record is for this TT. Its currently held by little John and he did a time of 7mins 11seconds. This was in 1977and hasn't been beaten in 33 years!! He says the youngsters just dont have the race fitness levels or stamina to beat my record. And he said that todays conditions were perfect for beating his record as he also had a tail wind when he diid it!!
