You were notable by your absence in Sunday's Reindeer Run! Did the hangover/cold get the better of you or did I just not spot you? ;)

Cough cough !! I was ready at 9.15 to run from the house to the race but had been coughing all night so sense prevailed.
How did you get on ?

I did ok - it was a bloody hard course though! The wind in the exposed parts of the course made things difficult...

To be more specific: 15th with a time of 40.33.

Yep they have published the results here: www.activevents.co.uk

You time is good especially on that course!

I have thought about Duathlon, but then thought about how hard it would be so stopped thinking about it pretty quickly!!! :D
As for Chips - I know he wouldn't have missed the run lightly so I prepared to accept his excuse! ;)

Brilliant Davey !

Once over the Big Dipper, CJ paced me all the way round
with the crowds on the Dipper we lost 3/4 minutes. waiting for the funnel at the top to clear. But then had the pleasure of overtaking people all the way round.

The streams and ditches were freezing but all the more fun !!
managed to finish in around 59 minutes.... and he even let me beat him in the sprint.
Make sure you do this one next year Davey.

Tim O'Leary was there too .... How'did you get on Tim ?

Well done Chips & CJ!

I am gutted I couldn't do it, was up in Chester. Spoken to a few people who did it Sunday, they all siad it was a great event and an excellent day for it.

Nevermind - roll on the Richard Burton!!

 I for one will be CYCLING on Boxing Day, a running race with a belly full of Turkey and cake does not appeal to me I'm afraid. :(
