I wouldn't mind going. not sure if anyone is going from Port Talbot?? Little John might but he seemed unsure!!! I'll check on here later to see if anyone replies. maybe we could go from the plaza down to mumbles for a ride, have some tea and toast etc and then go over to the finish or whatever!

I wanted to ride out to the Blacks to watch it but have to work. Fortunately I'm in Ammanford Mags Court this morning so should be able to catch it coming through GCG. Look out on TV for the smartly dressed spectator.

Awesome!! Stood at the top of constitution hill and watched the suffering and concentration of each rider as they crawled past in the little ring. The atmosphere was electric but the riders were totally focused. You could smell and see the smoke from the clutches on the support vehicles. Felt proud to be a cyclist and that an international event had come to Swansea and Wales. The girls on the rostrum were even better in the flesh than on the telly - might be a good addition to next years 'Presidents Road Race' prize giving ------ Any volunteers?

And the best part about it, My mate in the Welsh Asembly says the Welsh Assembly sponsorship brings it to Wales for at least the next two years........
