Anthony - long story cut short, some scum-bag popped my car last night and I've had to garage it as it's not secure/weatherproof.

Could you shuffle the pack and have me marshalling with Paul Robbins at Ynysygerwen - we'll ride over (rain or shine).

Apologies!

The Squadra Chrono were were out in force today in our very own open 50 Mile TT based on the aberdulais to Blaengwrach circuit.

It was a windy day but fortunately the wind had turned from previous weeks. As a result, we had a headwind on the more sheltered old road and a stomping tailwind up the dual carriageway. Not quite perfect but not too bad and some good times were recorded.

Andy Evans (YEP I'm BACK BOYS) 2:01:04
Hugh Davies 2:03:44
I did a 2:09:53
Peter Jones 2:11:21
and Dai Triggs won the Lanterne Rouge with a 2:41:42
Martin Edwards Started But recorded a DNF. (Don't know the story on that but I'm sure He'll let us know).

Andy Lewis obviously enjoyed the 50 so much last week did not start.. (Oh No the other possibility is HE'S JUST SAVING HIMSELF TO GIVE ME A KICKING IN THE 4 UP...... FOR SALE ONE KICKING FOR ANYONE WILLING TO RIDE WITH CHRIS ALLEN< NIGEL PITT AND ANDY LEWIS.....ANY TAKERS)

The Event was won by Ceri Pritchard in 1:46:40........

I'm sure Anthony will issue his thanks to all the marshalls and Helpers. But Can I say thank you to every won I saw Once again you've done the club proud.

Timekeepers - Norman and Robin
Pushing Off And for the moral support going up the Rock - Selwyn
Results Board - Anthony and Jeff Griffiths
Catering - Rita and Anne
Blaengwrach Roundabout - Glyndwr, (I would have paid good money for that chair on the third lap believe me)
Glyneath Old Road Junction - Colin Speakman and Gareth (I Think)
Ynysygerwyn - Alf and Skippy

Also Thanks to the Words of encouragement from the guys out on the Circuit.

Striker - Sat at the Burger van reading a paper.
Lyndsey and Kevin Donnelly. (Boys can you ride single file when I go past next time I had to do an extra 50 yards going round you pair) LOL

Don't think I missed anyone but I was in a mess after about 20 Miles so If I did apologies ;)
