Just put one (the speed version) on my new TT machine. Lovely bit of kit.
Ribble are knocking them out for 450 quid (didn't want to risk a pound sign there!)

Works fine. Don't shed those £'s, stick 'em in. €'s too, if you know how to type them ;)

Shimano is still on my 'must do better' list. The spring on my front changer (on my touring bike) has broken again. That's the second time in four years

maybe you're just a bit heavy-handed ;)

My next bike will have belt drive, hub gear, and I'll use me feet to slow it down. Anything to make it totally 'maintenance free'.

That said the wheels Vernon built are absolutely perfect, much better than the wheels the supergalaxy came with, and so far proving totally unbreakable. And the Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres are the best ever. The very first fit-and-forget touring tyres? I suspect they may be. Tune in next year to find out.

may have to invest in a pair of them, got 3 punctures from hitting 2 potholes a few weeks back (was only carrying 2 spares). Or maybe i'd better go to Specsavers!
