Still 8 timekeeping slots to fill so perhaps 8 of the near 80 club members could give me a bell.

Alf,

please put me down to timekeep for a Thursday from mid July onwards.
I'll need a quick crashcourse though.
My membership is in the post, late (no very late) as usual.
Cheers

Thanks Chris and thanks to Rose and Terry too. I've put the revised list up as a 'sticky' and will revise it as we go.

Alf, sorry I can't do May 13th, sorry to be a PITA but I'll be in Northhampton. I can do JUne 3rd if Peter can swap, and I'll do another later in the year if you like.

Roger, copy that. But forget about swapping, I've just stuck you down for a date in August.

Hi Martin (or anyone else that can help me out!),

I am hoping to come along to tomorrow night's 10 as my first trial event/meet with the club. Can I just confirm that you meet in the Resolven carpark and do routes on either the back road or on the main road. I saw it was a 6.30 pm start. What time do I need to get there by? 6pm?

Any advice much appreciated as I have never done a proper club TT before.

Cheers,

Yep if you get there half an hour before that should be fine. Some like to get there even earlier than that so they can warm up

The only thing to bear in mind is that Time trials are run under CTT rules and therfore you will need to be a member or second claim member in order to take part. We can get away with a one off private trial, but there are strict conditions on how we do that under the CTT come and try options.

You can join on the night by bringing a form along and the necessary subscriptions.

Hope to see you tomorrow
