Dont mean to offend pip, just an observation, whilst you were returning from this afternoons ride with chips and john you turned right at the lights in abbey rd and continued a short distance on the wrong side of the road, towards oncoming traffic.
Luckily, the first car coming towards you was ours and was being driven by my wife.
The reason i am posting this is simply down to the fact that my wife didnt see you at all! there was low sun shining directly into her eyes from the gap between the houses behind you.
Luckily i was in the passenger seat and the sun was blocked by the said house on my side of the car and i alerted her and she was able to slow down.
Hope you dont mind me addressing this, just trying to avoid another accident.
Cheers, Dai. _______________ Carpe Diem.

Youre missing my point chips, we were about 150yds from the lights and slowing down to stop.
Pip cut the corner and was cycling towards us on the WRONG side of the road!
As a cyclist and motorcyclist i dont need reminding of the "sorry i didnt see you mate" scenario.
The point i was making is simply that we dont always do ourselves justice whilst riding and seem to blame everyone bar ourselves without the slightest thought for our own actions.
So i think this time its the cyclist NOT riding to laws of the road!!! _______________ Carpe Diem.

Silence is No defence Pip!. I know where you're coming from Dai, earlier that same day, two PTW members, who shall remain nameless,( you know who you are) were cycling to the Plaza through the narrow back streets of PortTalbot with scant regard for the white van who was trying to overtake them with barely inches to spare, when the driver tried to appeal to their good nature by applying ever so slight pressure to the horn and winding the window down to explain the error of their ways, he was met with a barrage of hand gestures and four letter words ( well most were four, some were slightly longer ), so it's not just the Sunday bash ride that suffers from a lack of motorist tolerance.

Pip, im assuming from the question marks that you have no recollection of the event?
As i originally stated i am not having a go at you, i just thought it was to your advantage (to potentially stop you getting run over in the future) thats all.
THE END!!! _______________ Carpe Diem.
