Forza Cycles are putting on two events at the beginning of the season 1st event 14/3/2010 and the 2nd 0n 7/4/2010, this is as well as their Summer series starting in July .These dates are provisional at the moment, so look up Welsh Cycling website closer to the dates for updates, entry is on the line only

Silly question probably, can I ride in these events with a provisional race licence??

No,it is not a silly question, you cannot ride these events or most road racing events with a provisional licence, the issue becomes clouded as to the type of events you wish to ride, there as some events which are designated "GO Race" which you can ride without the need for a licence as long as you are a BRITISH CYCLING member ,otherwise you need a racing licence,which costs £32 for the season ,or you can take out a day membership which will include a day licence for £10, or if you are already a member of BC will cost you £5, but as the name implies only covers you for one day, are you still with me?I would suggest that you take out a day licence first to see if you like the event, and then if you do ,you can take out the annual licence ,good value if you intend to compete in more than three events. Hope i hav,nt baffled you .
