this may sound a bit general i have sent it to some other people as well

Please read all of this before you make any kind of decision. I am a disabled cyclist who competes at national level and I am looking for some sponsorship.
I only got back on a bike in January 2006 after a 5 year lay off due to a major accident when training which left me disabled. I have competed this year in the Rudy Project series I did not manage to do all the rounds due to lack of fitness at the beginning of the year but I managed to do 5 events, and I won the last 3, which made me joint first overall but due to count back I came second. I also did the disabled national road race and got silver in that behind Darren Kenny of the GB team. I have also competed in the Disabled Grand Prix of Wales and won the spirit of the event award. I have come second by 4 points in the disabled B.A.R which I could have won but due to 2 events being cancelled I did not have enough events to enter to let me catch the winner up.
I have also just had an invitation off the disabled British team to join them at their training camp in late November.
I hope next year with the right sponsorship to race all disabled national events and some international events. If I manage to get on the British Team there will be a lot of international events.
I have managed to get some small funding of the Federation Disabled Sports Wales for my last two events of this year and they are going to see if they can help as well.
Please can you let me know if you can help me with any kind of sponsorship or not so at least I know you have read this.

hi just thought i would let you know how the serch for sponsorship is going.
i have managed to get squeezy energy products and also a part sponsorship off Isaac by way of a new track frame and forks, this is through the main suppliers RBS performance.
but i still need more sponsorship if there is any out there let me know

If you was doing charity work I could suggest some companies who may help . Other than that I can only suggest to try other bike forums . Have you tried any bike firms etc. I dont think you'll get any support here , financially anyway . There are members who run their own businesses. Best thing is to go to the club night on a Friday as Not many use the forum.

You could write to the PTW committee and see what response you get from there. They may suggest some things. Its worth a shout anyway. Have you been down to a club night on a Friday? Its always good to meet people and get some feedback on how they may feel about sponsoring you.
I would try firms like, Sony, fords, local bikes shops etc. Any help is better than none. I would do a CV on your achievments with the bike eg events and times etc. I'll have a look on the internet for you and see if I can come up with something. Have you tried any disabled sports orgs?
