Member	Andy Ev's reporting from the lonely hearts club that was the LLandow crit last night. Having feasted on a diet of pizza and beer for the last 2 weeks in Spain, I lined up as the sole member of the now "world renowned" PTWCC squadra rosa on a blustery night at the races! After a brief discussion with our most recent deserter, I mean departing friend to the green side, AKA Charlifumni, who was in supprisingly good spirits despite his knackered collarbone, (wouldn't wish that on anyone) I set off with 30 odd others at a viscious pace right from the gun. With 8 Jolly green giants in the field, it seemed every attempt to get away was being foiled, but eventually, a group of 7 slipped up the road...... and I wasn't in it! It turned out this was the winning move of the race. After lots of tooing and frowing from the bunch and a few attemps to cross to the leaders, we were given hope when a fall in the lead group split it in to a 4 and 2. It was left to Ajax and PTWCC to put the effort in and chase, but by now I was struggling - not with the pace, but trying to conceal the extra tyre I seem to have picked up in customs that seems to be permenantly strapped to my midrift!! and was weighing me down! (my excuse!) Any rate, the move had gone and wasn'tcoming back, the remaining bunch split again, and I eventually got 2nd in the gallop for a lowly placed 11th ish. but happy with my performance. Great lung opener! just need some tyre leavers now!! PS. Rumour has it the Jolly green giant kit is turning Black next year! I Guess black is the new red white and green, I mean blue, I mean pink?*>! Whats news on our kit? anything in the pipeline?

Member	Thanks for the report Andy - good to see you back racing and doing well by the sounds of it! Sorry I couldn't join you, been struggling since finishing the Ras last week, bunged up with a cold! _______________ The Force is strong in this one...
