The bike shop in Station Road have reported to me that a top spec' road bike was offered to them this morning by two Pikeys. No details of make/type etc. I'm afraid, but it clearly didn't belong to the two scumbags who took it into the shop.

Funny you shoudl mention it - I saw a guy wheeling a purple Jeff Bruce with tri bars near that shop, and it made me look twice, picture didn't seem right.

That's the one Davey. At the time of my earlier post I didn't have the details but it's an aluminium Jeff Bruce with tri-bars.

Purple!, I dare say most people would go a funny colour, if they were being wheeled around with tri-bars. Anyway, can't think of anyone with a bike of that discription. No, hold on! didn't Anthony V have a purple Brucie Bonus?, have you checked your shed Anthony?.
