Anthony, I've slept since then (and many beers later) I can't quite remember the full conversation. But there is a dim bell ringing about maybe having a go at a team attempt at the Magic Dragon next year. Sorry guys nothing juicy!
A handful of people did it last year and we still managed to get a reasonable amount of points. Maybe the youngsters could make it a little competition for themselves?
Any thoughts anyone??

I think getting the kids involved in a team event is a brilliant idea. Gets them involved and gives a purpose to train. KIds are the future of the club.

I think it is a good idea - indeed I think this falls under Martin Edwards' proposal discussed at the AGM.

It would be great if we could get the jersey out there in as many ways as possible, (except Crimewatch) and the idea that Martin was trying to put forward, that we actively encourage memebrs to do this 3 times a year ties in well with Spot's idea.

For what it's worth I am going to try and enter the Magic Dragon series, as well as a few road races.

Ironic because the conversation in the Barn was about how to get more club members - especially those who "race on club rides", to enter more races !!!

Good boy Davey, the Magic Dragon is a start but the Magic Dragon is only a small number of the races on the calendar !!
