PTW

8.05 a.m and off I set, meeting up with Rufus(who had ridden towards me) in Penrhiwtyn. Along the planned route with a reasonable tailwind, Tonna, Resolven, Pentreclwydau, Glyneath, Hirwaun, Heads of the valleys, Cwmtaf,Llwyn on resevoir,Cwm Cadlan, Penderyn, Ystradfellte, Pontneddfechan, Glyneath,(a cuppa at the burger van), after which me and me bro parted company, him going over inter valley road, Abercraf, Ystradgynlais, Crynant, Aberdulais, Bryncoch, Myself going, via Glyneath rd, Commercial rd(where our butty was sorting out some garden furniture) to the H.Q, and then on to marshal at the Mini r/about and then from there to B/Ferry. Roughly 55+ miles for meself, with Ian clocking up somewhere in the region of 70+ miles and both of us soaking up some stunning scenery and some seriously stiff climbs(me in the granny ring and Ian in a 39/23 ). A cracking day for cycling, a bit chilly int' shade, but dry and just the right temperature in the sun. Another very enjoyable ride, in reasonably good company .
