Hi Dai, was going to text you actually. Could be tempted to do a long un' on sunday. Was going to join the 9.30 or 10.30 in the morning as I haven't been on the sat club run for a few weeks.

Tomorrow it was. A beuatiful spring morning saw Myself, Dai and Tony heading over the Ferry bridge(albeit a tad late). Anyway over the bridge and along Fabian way crossing young Charles as he hurtled passed in the opposite direction heading presumably to meet the 9.30 at the Plaza. Sa1 to Black Pill, Black Pill to Gowerton all on cycle paths, a little bit of road work to the wet land centre and then back on the cycle path to Tumble. back on the road to Pontyberem, Ponthenri, Pontyates, turned left into lanes just at the foot of the meinciau hill taking us through Pontnewydd to Trimsaran and then down to Pembrey and Back onto the cycle path, stopping at the Pavillion cafe for tea, a bacon buttie, porched egg on toast and a couple o' welsh cakes and NO that wasn't just my order, it was between the three of us Mr N.S.SPINNER. Whilst in the cafe we got talking to a fella by the name of Carl, said he knew Brucie from way back and asked to be reminded to him, so there you go Jeffery!. Leaving the cafe, it was a joy to be on the bike, sun shining and a cracking tail wind, a joy that was to be quite short lived, as we came to the wetland centre, yes you've guessed it a PUNCTURE, armed with my newly acquired steel tyre levers the tyre was seperated from the rim in record time (compared to last week anyway). An inspection of the tyre revealed a chunk missing, so a new tube and part of a plastic bottle to cover the hole and off we set, all went well until Loughor, where the tube gave up the ghost again. Right, tube and tyre repaired with leeches (don't bother) we set off once more, only to travell 100 yards and the blinking thing was flat once more, Oh duece I exclaimd! :x ,I wont bother repairing it again I'll phone the present Mrs R and beg a lift and that's what I done, leaving Dai and Tony to ride home. Anyway another good ride in good company and equally good weather :), roughly 70 mile round trip for the boys :) and about 15 mile less for myself :(.
