PTW

I've decided it is time to throw myself to the dreaded Port Talbot peleton, no, I don't mean the pace but the banter. I will be out on tomorrows Friday gentlemans bash and expect to take a damn good tongue thrashing from Stattler & Waldorf (Brucy & Vern). I have been on my spinning machine and done a few rides on flatish cycle paths. Did two and half hours with Titus on Wednesday but its time for the real test now, A PTW GROUP RIDE. My fitness isn't fantastic (So whats changed) so I hope I'm not being premature (The wife just hates that for some reason) but I will give it my best shot. I'll bring plenty of money 'cos I must be well behind on the tea buying rota so it has to be my turn. At one time I thought that cycling with the club was in my past and not in my future so life is good again. Perhaps the good lord will give me a break now after I was knocked off the bike by a car & having my coronary arteries furring up in the last 3 years. Anyway it's great to be back and last but not least I would like to thank all those good people of the PTW who visited me in hospital , phoned or called up the house to ask how I was and keep my spirits up. Last thing before you all fall to sleep, is it 3 o'clock tomorrow at the plaza now the clocks have gone forward?

Glad to see ur back to the grind again, have to hold my hand up and apologise for not visiting in person, but i have been thinkin bout u every time ive been smashing my self up rhos hill on my morning training rides whilst passing ur house !! (honestly)

Cheers Charles, I believe you!! No problem Dai, nothing like getting your order in early, and that must break some Friday afternoon record on ordering tea/coffee. I'll only have enough money for the first 25 cyclists though.

I might take the afternoon off work just to have a latte with you Kevin.

Cant wait to see a record turnout ride past kickstart tomorow afternoon kev to welcome you back especialy as they know that there will be a brew waiting for them courtesy of yourself, i wonder if the same incentive would drag the same amount of wheelers to the summit of the rhigos and bwlch on a sunday !! lol

Just confirmed with Anthony that it is 3 o'clock at the Plaza today, and yes, I have warned the cafe and opened a TAB ready.
