Blimey, last posting was July !!!!!
Well the last of the Summer wine ride still exists and was definitely NOT the "ride of the Valkaries" that I was expecting !!! Pyle lanes / Laleston / dipping bridge/ Ogmore/ Southerndown/ Wick/ St. Donats/ Monknash/ Ewenny Caff for a well earned cuppa. Home via Penybryn lanes at 1.00pm Weather permitting, 10.00 a.m. at the Plaza next week ? |

Weather forecast for next Wednesday ( 19th ) is .... DRY !!!!
Suggested meet time at the Plaza is 9.30 ...... which would allow us more time to roll a few miles further and be back at a sensible time. |

Just seen the weather forecast .... dry tomorrow rain later in the week.
Some of us might be attending a funeral on Wednesday so ..................... last of the summer rides tomorrow - Plaza 9.30 |

It WAS a dry day too !!!!!!!
Four of us left the Plaza, nice tailwind out, Laleston lanes, across the A48, over the dipping bridge, through the gorge to Brides St. Major, left at the pub on the pond, back lanes to Wick, main road to Boverton, and then Llantwit Major, St. Donats lanes back to Ewenny by 11.50. Home via Bridgend and Penybryn at 1.15. As Gordon Ramsey might say .... 50 miles ..... DONE !! |

Alf, don't know who'll be out but there are usually a couple of guys who meet at 9.30.
Jeff G? Phil ? Pip ? Tud ? Vernon ? Jeff B? Kev ? Any of you out ? I plan to ride tomorrow morning but I don't know what time I'll be out except that I'll time it to arrive back at Ewenny by about midday. |
