Hi boys , great meeting thanks for all your input and new cheques. On returning home couldn't help checking some mileages.
Day 1 Lands End to Liskeard - 73.9
Day 2 Liskeard to Taunton - 86.3
Day 3 Taunton to Hereford (via Aust, Cheptow) - 98.6
Day 4 Hereford to Wigan -119 (changed from Runcorn)
Day 5 Wigan to Carlisle - 106
Day 6 Carlisle to Glasgow - 112
Day 7 Glasgow to Fort william - 102
Day 8 Fort William to Inverness - 65.2 (nice easy day)
Day 9 Inverness to John O'Groats -119
approx total 882
Distance taken from google maps.
All destination have a Premier Inn.

Ah Sunday !! brill, i was thinking bout maby a few of us riding over from Port Talbot maby meeting u at the severn bridge bout 3 hour 45min ride then yeah could have some lunch at chepstow, ride with u to hereford and ive already spoke to my old man about him picking us up in the van from hereford he'd be happy to do that, do you think that could be a posibility?

The link I posted should work, but sadly it doesn't seem to agree with UseBB (forum software) so I have had to paste it in full, rather than as a link. Therefore you'll have to copy and paste it off the page.
I think the route at the moment has far too many B roads. Would be nice, but is probably bumpy, difficult to follow, and a lot slower. I wouldn't fancy being on the receiving end of all the griping if at the end of the day we got a bit lost either...
Can you believe there are four Premier Inns in and around Taunton?

Dai, apologies for not making the meeting. In Pencoed with my son - soccer.
I have aroute sorted Hereford to Wigan
Mileage is 117.2 miles, but I think I can get that down a bit.
