PTW

As most of you ive been back on bike for 4 months now and realy enjoying it, as it is so late on in the year i wasnt actualy planning on joing the club till next year. Bit of a issue i have now tho ive started riding on track and going well enough to race now which means getting an accreditation which im sure means being a bcf and club member. As the creditation is 29th November is there a way of joing the club and bcf now and it would carry through next year, if not, i dont mind having to join for the rest of this year, and then renew my membership for 09. Who do i need to speak to to sort it out though as time getting on

Looking at our membership form, it says:

LES THOMAS, 1 ST BRIDES CLOSE, NOTTAGE, PORTHCAWL CF36 3NR. 07976 601218

I'm sure he can find out for you.

Quickest option to get you started (and covered with the mandatory third-party insurance) is to join British Cycling* by going online tonight or phone them tomorrow with your credit/debit card to hand.

Then join the club by posting off a membership form with the required amount to Les 'Comeback Kid' Thomas. Joining PTW now covers you for the rest of 2008 and the whole of 2009.

*British Cycling - Silver or Gold membership is required and would "suit you sir" as a racing type but CTC membership is also acceptable.

Yep as per Alf's note send off for the BCF and they will send the licence to me. I'll give it to you when you sign up and pay next years membership. If i get the livence, I'll bring it down the club on Friday

If the licence doesnt come by friday then just drop a message on here and ill take a trip on to port cawl afterwork one night, good excuse to get a extra 30mile ride in !!

Thanks for the log les, howz the hangover end up on sunday !!

I spoke to the BCF today and the said it was due to be sent out either today or tomorw, so they emailed me confirmation today so i can take it to the track tomorw night !!

any sign of this infamous licence of mine ?!?!?!

It hasn't gone to Strikers house by mistake has it?
He may be still registered as PTW sec. with the BCF.

ANy news on charlies license?
