Deposits of £100 pounds required from those who wish to join the ride. I have opened a post office savings account today. Cheques made payable to ' The Post Office Ltd' can be given to me whenever you see me. You can post them to me if you want @ 18 Connaught St. PT SA13 1ET. I would rather not have cash .
Sorry can't make it down the club on friday got a schools rugby match -so tied up.

I'll be at club night this Friday Dai. I'll happily collect cheques for you. ......... Otherwise at Ewenny cafe on Saturday.

Thanks Anthony - will be out Sat 9.30 but only for a short ride as I have tickets for the rugby on sat. Unless i can sell them then i can get some more miles in.

Just a thought, prompted by tonights club night, but would any of the 2009 End-to-Enders kindly consider doing it for Tŷ Hafan?

Don't all rush at once to say you're in. If you are seriously interested then £100 deposit needed. We can only start planning and making bookings, if we have a commitment with some 'akkers'. Come on fellas lets go for it . In at the moment - Me and CJ anyone going to join us.?????????

The bit that concerns me is the flying back. Does that involve bike bagging?

Is there an alternative for those that don't want to fly? I don't mind taking an extra day to get back.

Electric bikes are great. They give ordinary people the chance to know what it feels like to be me.

Bill, bikes will be brought back in van with driver. Chatting about this with other interested parties- flying back is an option but might take almost as long when you take in to account travel to airport ,check in time, any flight delays and travel back from bristol. So options are still open traveling back by road still an option- plus driver will need some company on way back.

Just a word of advice for any End-to-Enders planning their holidays and how many days to take off work. Don't underestimate the journey back! You'll almost certainly need a day longer than you think, if only to recover from it as it's gruelling (especially after the ride itself).

In 2003, we left John O'Groats at 09.00hrs Sunday and, incredibly, were still in Scotland at nightfall and the Port Talbot boys got back home at 03.00hrs on the Monday morning. Mind you, we were towing a horsebox and had some 'fat jockeys' on board ;) .

All the advice is greatly welcome - will make sure the transport is good and no horse box this time- but would like some firm takers. Please let me know if your in and let's have some firm commitment with a deposit. 14 people at first meeting but only 2 deposits so far and one of them is me.
