I've got a bike for you Stumps. It's short on the seat tube but long on the top tube, but it won't take mudguards.

You don't have to sit in the house and watch him grow up! bring him up to Afan and introduce him to cycling. I thought you were only waiting for a bb and chain set for a single speed setup!.

No he wanted a moutain bike with slicks for riding around on, then a fixed winter bike, now a single speed mountain bike, then didn't he want a Giant TCR road bike, then a Monoc and now a Ribble audax bike? Which is it? I've forgotten!!??

Thats too far for him to ride to, and then on up to the bike center. Thats a 30 mile round trip  . We stick to our 10 mile ride down the beach 8) :D .

I didn't say to ride up, put the bikes in or on the car and drive up or have you got another excuse lined up ready!

 Or just print out the pictures of the bikes on the internet. Save yourself some money and garage space, but have all the benefits of a bike that you don't ride!!

No need to be like that Paul, I was only trying to offer a bit of encouragement. You didn't let me down, TWO excuses in one sentence. I honestly do think you need to get out more, what ever you do, it'll give you less time to think up so much b$"£%*it. Davey,I don't think virtual cyclist would hit the spot, virtual reality would be closer to the mark!
