Hi all, your roving hands reporter here, Anita Bush.My apologies for such a late report on last weeks ride,(12/11) but here it is. A glorious autumn morning saw 11 riders set off towards the mtb centre and the ever welcome "brick". A few new faces today included Mrs H and Mr and Mrs Dave Abbott( no your eyes have'nt deceived you, I typed Dave Abbott). Having ridden from home along with mum and dad young Tom Hanson managed to hold George and Neil off and pip them for the unwritten prime at the old station at Cymmer. On then to the mtb centre where we all enjoyed a coffee or tea and a chin wag and where Mrs H got stung(no, we didn't catch her for a round of teas). She was actually stung by a bee. There being no signs of any long lasting affects we all expressed our mock concern

and set off on the down hill return leg of our journey. The old station, just below the Afan Argoed centre, saw the group split into two and bidding everyone "fair well and see you next week", Alf, John, Karen and Tom headed towards home(well done Karen and Tom),accompanied as far as cwmavon by Jeff Griffiths and his grandson Jordan, who both cycled home to baglan(well done Jeff, umm I mean Jordan

). A very warm and sunny afan argoed carpark saw a very pleased (and rightly so), Lyn Abbott, making Dave promise to bring her back next week or at the very least get a rack for her car. Airnee way! everyone seemed to enjoy themselves again and we hope to see you all next week, T.t.f.n.!.
