Well, I got my newly repaired steed from Jeff this afternoon, and with the shoulder feeling a lot better, I headed out for a blitz to clear out the cobwebs. 40km in 110 minutes with about 600m of climbing, taking in Pen Lle'r Castell and Cwmllynfell 8)

Funnily enough this is almost exactly ONE THIRD of the shorter Dragon Ride (120km with 1800m of climbing). My predicted time is therefore 330 minutes - minimum. 5 1/2 hours. It's definitely a sobering thought.

See y'all on Saturday morning.

I have an entry in Dragon Ride but unfortunately or maybe fortunately for me, I am attending a stag do that weekend. Anyone want my entry. Heard Dai Abbot has not entered but has been training with the dragon boys - shame to let entry go to waste. No charge just collect numbers and tags and your welcome to it.

Sad to report I have been quite ill over the last two days, with what Father Dougal might call an "infected head". Therefore I am out. Rats. ODTAA.
