JUst to clarify Issac newtons cooments regarding my not riding a bike. I dont ride my bike any more has I was reported for riding a bike and being a member of the club. The allegations made against me were serious but thankfully I won my case. But I just dont have the confidence to join the club at the moment. PLUS someone in the club or another club works for the DHSS and gave another club member from PTW a warning for riding his/her bike whilst being on social security benefits. HArdly awe insirping for myself. Obvius;y if this is the case then that person cant keep his work affairs to a working enviroment.
Good luck for the forthcoming season.

No offence - but if that was his job I would consider it pretty negligent of him not to report it, even if he did see it 'outside office hours'.

So in your rule book Paul, you should be able to ride a bike on the weekends and after 5:30 of an evening!Anyhoo, forgive my ignorance, but if these allegations were made against you but as you say you won your case, then surely you are innocent and free to ride your bike where and whenever or is I missing summit? and it's not Newton, it's height!

I stand by what I said - and the allegedly guilty party should be thankful that's all he did!!

I was innocent but has was pointed or rather drummed into me at my appeal, I was putting other pedestrians, cyclists and motorists at risk because of my disability. Thats why I cant get a job. I havent found an employer who will take me on has my condition isn't properly controlled and they are not willing to take me on. They want you fully fit and able to come to work as required. I would love to work. Voluntary work isn't a problem because they dont pay you thus if you cant go in one day because you are not well then they lose nothing.

Right, but if you qualify to drive a car then surely you can ride a bike? and don't be so hard on yourself Paul,to say you were a danger to other road users is a bit harsh, your bike handling wasn't that bad!
