A good question Andrew. I could do with some bits and pieces this year.

Hopefully, the short-sleeve jersies won't have those awful elasticated bits on them.

Just a £ test posting

My God. It's a pound sign. I don't believe it  I fixed it :D

How about a € Euro symbol? Oh, I'm just showing off now. Welcome to the 21st century.

Welsh too: Sa i'n bwriadu prynu tŷ yn y Gŵyr, mae hi'n digon wlyb i sgïo.

Sorry it took me about 2 years to fix it...

Latest on the club kit ......
The first deals with the sponsored kit comes to an end this year. We are therefore starting to look for new sponsorship deals ( new sponsors ??? ) .
( Maybe new kit ?? )
Because of this, we probably will NOT be putting in any purchasing orders for any more stuff as it would be difficult to get reasonable pricing for small orders.
Jeff does however still have a few items left.

Actually, it was a three-year deal starting in 2004 and thus ending at the end of 2006 (2004, 2005 and 2006) so if it gets left until 2009 then it will have been a five-year deal.

I think the sensible thing to do would be to keep the basic design the same and just amend the sponsors. On a Saturday bash, we've already got three versions of the club kit (four if Will is out) on display so I feel we need to preserve the current theme for another four or five years. In addition, it would be easier for team time-trials as the 2004 kit and 2009 kit would essentially be the same.

It's a good basic design, so why change it?

Got to agree with you there Alf! I for one have got a fair amount of kit in more than good condition and to put pressure on members to buy a whole new set of kit buy changing the design and not just the layout of the sponsors names would be quite unfair.Going back to the point of ordering club kit, didn't our honourable club treasurer mention in the a.g.m that the coffers were quite swollen with sponorship monies(something I coudn't quite understand, given this 3 year sponsorship deal) therefore making it quite legitimate to spend all the sponsorship money on a final order ,a mixture of kit in varying sizes would be an idea, I dare say someone would have a list of the most popular sizes and I don't think the kit manufacturers would turn down an order for several hundred pounds.Maybe a special meeting could be arranged to see exactly whats left and where the members would want to spend it(obviously on kit),I for one think it should be spent on existing kit, therefore freeing up the 2008 season ,giving time to put in place new sponsorship deals for the 2009 season.
