For the guys who were out on the 9.30am run on saturday, I've contacted OWENS haulage and have described the incident and put it in writing involving the lorry on St Mary's hill Saturday that could have killed us all!
I have included accurate time and place so they should be able to trace the driver as we were too busy picking our selves out of the gutter and counting our blessings to get the registration.
I am awaiting a reply.
I'll also get to see the Police this week to pass on what info I've got.
Will keep you posted.

Here's an extract from the letter I wrote, but to bring you all up to date, Ian Jarman from OWENS has contacted me and although they have 250 vehicles on the road, he is confident he will be able to identify the driver and discipline him accordingly. Whether the Police will want to follow it up also I dont know.
"One of your drivers overtook 6 cyclists on Felindre road near St Mary's Golf club, Pencoed, Mid glamorgan. Once along side the cyclists, he sounded his horn loudly and proceeded to turn sharply in to the side of the road - swinging his rear load directly at the cyclists.
All cyclists had to brake quickly and one ended up in the side of the road to avoid being hit and possibly killed by the passing lorry. This act of stupidity could have cost the lives of 6 cyclists. The registration of the lorry could not be taken as we were all considerably shaken by the carelessness and total disregard for life by the driver of one of your vehicles"

Just an update,
Not heard anything from Owens for a week so reported the incident to the Police and have an incident number.
As OWENS are based in Dyfed, they are forwarding it on to Dyfed Police.
Hopefully the idiot gets all he deserves.
