He decided to go onto the road from the cycle path near to St Helens rugby club
His front fork snapped and he tumbled to the floor. He was not travelling at any
great speed and escaped unhurt. After checking he was ok he
phoned his father to pick him up, while the rest of
the group carried on for a cuppa.
