I'm building up a winter bike (should be ready next April  ) and the frame I've bought had a ShimaNO bottom bracket in it that is surplus to requirements. It's 'English' thread, 110mm axle length and good old square taper. I can even give you the fitting tool for it as I've got a proper one with a fixed handle on it.

If you want it then reply to this thread.

(should be ready next april),judging by the weather this year Alf,April through to July is about right for mudguards, but don't forget you won't be able to hose your bike down, coz of the drought!.

Mudguards? I hate fitting mudguards!! Not the concept of mudguards but getting the buggers on!

Best frame ever for proper clearances was the good old St. John Street 'Tange' beastie! I think the 44cm long chainstays helped...
