Got back late last night (Sat) so just chillin' today...

Thanks guys and special thanks to Peter Jones for giving me a call, I can't remember where I was (or who I was) but it was most welcome! Thanks Pete!

I'm hoping it will be an 84-hour ride as my depart was not until 22.30hrs on the Monday but as long as it's sub-90 I'm not bothered! It was cold, wet and windy for much of the time but in all other respects it lived up to my expectations and certainly the scale of the event exceeded my expectations!

Feeling OK but had some problems with my feet (again) but this only affected me on the last three stages where I had to have interim stops. Some minor knee pain has gone as quick as it came and I've just got a little shoulder pain as a reminder. I had about 4 hours sleep over the four nights I was out on the road and now feel a true 'randonneur' after having slept on a park bench and also on a stone slab at the base of a statue!

See you at the Boxing Day '10'

P.S. Thanks Kev for the Space Bar widget. It worked a treat and I'll get it back to you asap.
