PTW

I've got one full day of work to look forward to tomorrow (Friday) before setting sail for Le Havre and two weeks en vacance in France. I can't see me having time to post anything tomorrow so here's what's happening;

Week 1 is a family holiday staying in Villepail (where Southern Normandy meets the East Loire).

Week 2 is the big one - Paris-Brest-Paris We are having a weekend in Versailles for the bike check on Sunday 19th and then Le Grand Depart from St. Quentin-en-Yvelines on Monday 20th - 21.30hrs local time (crikey - that's my bedtime). Mandy and Jennifer will then go back to Villepail to continue their holiday whilst my holiday continues on two wheels .

Ooops! Nearly forgot. As my works mobile will be on divert to the office/engineers I've got a new mobile for the duration - 07788 801611.

Obviously, there's not much happening now but from Tuesday morning (Aug 21st) I should be pootling along and swiping a zip card at each control point. If I'm not making progress then I've packed (or I'm in a ditch).

Interestingly, if you enter WILLIAMS there are 8 of us (4 x GB, 3 x USA, 1 x Francais) and one is called John Williams...
