Cos I haven't got a scoobie.
I've never seen Vino as a GC contender because he normally has a bad day at some stage of the race but he is fast becoming the people's choice for battling on. The same could be said for Kloden but the guy seems to have had a charisma bypass. Cadel Evans is playing it cool at the moment and seems quietly confident of his own chances but who can forget his spectacular capitulation in the Giro a few years back although I accept he's older and wiser now.
Me? I'm going for Valverde or Leipheimer and I'll stick my neck out and decide which one after today's stage!

He won the stage today.
With Menchov as his back up man they will struggle to get the time back.

Bit weak at TT's though isn't he? He'll need to do a Pantani a la 1998 and ride the ITT's of his life to pull it off.
Although Valverde had the upper hand today I'm going to go for Leipheimer.

Cadel Evans will need to drink some Listerine to get the taste of the wheels he sucked today out of his mouth!
Lepihmer (sp) don't think he has what ist takes, will struggle in the Pyrennes. Ras - looking good, tore up the mountains, and could probably hold a lead into the TTs, provided he can eek a bit more out in the Pyrs. Vino & Kloden? podium maybe, but chances for yello gone I suspect. My money is on Ras. _______________ The Force is strong in this one...

It just shows how high (sic) the sports profile is when this incident was on the BBC National News last night as the closing comical item. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Davey ... What's going on ? Your legs were all the talk last night on the ride home from the club event !!!
Kloden would be a very good bet except for Vinokourov who will still be controlling the way he rides !

It's been a cracker hasn't it? Seeing Contador and Rasmusson going mano a mano has been breathtaking and we've got round 3 to look forward to tomorrow (Wed). _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Quite ironic, wasn't it, that Vino was tested after winning the 'race of truth'.

As most of you know, I was over weight and like to smoke some dope before I started cycling and running .I came to my senses and gave it all up to get fit and get a life. But looking at the tour did I do the right thing as every one thats any good is still on the dope???.

After wasting my time watching it live yesterday I really enjoyed the ITV4 highlights tonight and it was great to hear Jens Voigt so passionate about kicking out the cheats. Mind you, the way he rides I've previously wondered if he was juiced up. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Best laugh has to be the Cofidis team signing the clean team document, taking part in the startline protest and then finding their own team member ( Moreni ) kicked out !!!
