Mmmm, Liquigas. And forget that carbon 'stiff yet compliant' crap. Aluminium is where it's at. Get one of these filling rattlers and enjoy some old skool carpal tunnel syndrome.

Jon - I thought you had potential! Obvioulsy I was wrong. Cannondales? - If I wanted characterless American trash I would buy a Trek. James - agreed, above ridley is tres cool, but prefer the udnerstated cool of the Bianchi myself. ![]() _______________ The Force is strong in this one... |

Davey, I'm hurt! "Cannondales? - If I wanted characterless American trash I'd buy a Trek" I beg to differ, American brands tend to push the technology envelope, unlike Italian brands who sell off past glories and give you fancy paintwork, but not much else!

Wondered how long it would be before you spotted that! I'm only winding you up, I actually like Cannondales (they are very nice) and agree with you about the Tech side of things, Italian bikes def lag behind. I just think Italian bikes have a 'Euro cool' element that American bikes don't! ![]() _______________ The Force is strong in this one... |

A few years back I remember an article in Cycle Sport where many pro riders stated that if they had to buy their own bike, or when they retire, they would buy a Colnago C40 and didn't Tafi ride one dressed up in his final teams colours after he left Mapei?
