Just a reminder boys and girls that the closing date is next Tuesday although I'll probably let it run on to the Friday night due to committments with the Nat 3-up TTT.

Through rose-tinted spectacles I see loads of you entering this classic event on a superb sporting course.

I hope I'm not the only Port Talbot Wheeler riding this event like the Bynea 50. Yes I did actually ride the Bynea 50 and no I did not stop for a coffee in Brecon or walk round.

Come on the rest of the committee let's set an example by entering this one. It would be nice to see some of the riders from the Tuesday night bash putting a number on their backs as well.

Or is there anyone who will man the event HQ and allow me to ride it?

I also need a couple of marshalls to do one roundabout - Thanks!

You're right striker. I haven't done any races this year. Oh wait... ;)

I know what you mean though, it is a long and lonely road when you are on your own. Would be good to see some more PTWCC out on the roads!

Christine Lloyd, Spot and Striker.... so far!

There's plenty of time to enter. Go on, give it a go!

There's roadworks on the course :( but the event will still go ahead :) .

There are currently traffic lights just past the village of Halfway and also at Pontarcothi (on the bridge).

The Halfway lights might be gone by race day but the Pontarcothi bridge lights will still be there. Thankfully, both sets are very short and shouldn't delay you too much, especially if you get good luck and eat your greens (it's a well known fact, eat your greens and you'll get greeen lights - trust me I'm a doctor).

I'll be at the club tonight to take any last minute entries.

(The WCA guestbook is down at the moment so this is for visitors as well as our three riders)

Start sheets posted this morning so they'll be with you tomorrow.

Conewatch Update - Sat, June 23rd.

I've driven the course this morning and whilst one set of lights have gone (the set near the village of Halfway) two sets have gone out on the course!

In the order that you'll see them, you will encounter temporary traffic lights between Sennybridge and Brecon (quite long and something to do with the pipeline protesters I think) and the at Broad Oak and Pontargothi Bridge (both these are really short).
