6 pm from the Plaza. 1.5 hours around porthcawl anyone?

I'm away Dai (and still very unfit) but the tradition has always been for a 6.30pm start as soon as the clocks 'spring' forward but with a shorter ride for a couple of weeks and it is advisable to have a rear LED on.

The 6.00pm start kicks in on the first Tuesday in September.

Message to all - Can you check in on this thread to help support and kick-start this important training ride.

Ok count me in for a 6:30 start at the Plaza.
I am scheduled for a turbo session, but much rather
be out in the open for a blast

Well that was a sharp ride last night
I thought I'd come along a bit at this cycling malarchy, but
still get blown out the back door on the first Tuesday ride
6 off us headed out to P'cawl with the wind on out tails
By the M4 roundabout 3 off us were of the back a bit but
not too much.
Kev, took a short cut through Cornelly while me and Ian battled up the
bypass, Kev managed to get back on but it was the end for me and Ian.
Got held up at the next roundabout and the others were out of site.
Got held up again at zebra crossing before the pier. Thought the rest would
be waiting with an icecream for us but no such luck.
Ian worked hard to pull me home against the wind before dropping me at BOC.
This Tuesday ride is tough going but I'm gonna work harder and stay
off the back next time

Hate to disappoint you even more Tim,but the reason I dropped off the back and hand signalled to turn left was in the hope of you and Ian following me to get the two of you back on,I even shouted to Ian just before the r/about to stay with me, but he obviously didn't hear, coz I turned and looked back and you pair went sailing by. Anyhoo nice to see you out,more bottle than others I could mention or was it past their bedtime.
